"Total Rip-Off - STAY AWAY!"
These bracelets and the accompanying app are a complete fraud. The customer support is a total joke, and they refuse to let you return your item when it doesn't work.

I picked these up as a Christmas present for my folks, but the app wasn’t even available on iOS, even though their site claimed it was. I reached out to customer service, and after four days, they insisted the app was fine and asked me to PROVE it was down. Then they told me I wouldn’t be getting a refund and closed my ticket before I could even respond.

"Awful Experience"
What a nightmare! The app keeps freezing up and the bracelet barely functions. I requested a refund, but it seems they don’t do that. THIS PRODUCT IS USELESS!! Folks deserve their cash back!!

I reached out to customer support and went through a ton of questions, but they were no help at all.

"Not Worth It"
These items aren't worth the cash, and they don't provide complete refunds. It gets loud when it tightens up, and the app just freezes and fails to function. Seriously, don't throw your money away.

"Steer Clear of These"
Steer clear of these. Total waste of cash. Their customer service is terrible; they just leave you hanging. I had the bracket for less than a week before it quit on me. Awful company!! I've been sending them emails every three days and still no response.

"A waste of cash"
A total waste of cash! These things are huge and heavy. I attempted to return them, but they refused, and I haven't even touched it. They don't match the advertisement, and they clearly don't care about fixing issues! Keep your cash!!!

"Decent but could use some tweaks"
This bracelet is pretty nice to wear, and the vibration is soft (similar to a phone buzz). I haven't run into any issues with the app (works well), connecting it (just like other Bluetooth gadgets), or customer service (they got back to me in under a day), just like others have mentioned. I really wish they could sort out the random disconnections, though; it's a bit frustrating since you can't tell if your partner is getting or sending the taps. The biggest downside is that it doesn't stay on securely. While I was traveling, I had to tie it to another bracelet to avoid losing it. All in all, it's a solid product, but a few improvements could really elevate it to something special.

"It won't power on again"
Initially, when I powered it up, it was linked. As I navigated through the settings, I stumbled upon the 'power off' option. Even though I did everything as instructed, the bracelet just wouldn’t budge from that mode. I ended up uninstalling the app and re-registered, but that didn’t help. Now, I can't get my bracelet to turn on at all, no matter what I do. Anyone got any suggestions on what I might try?

"Way better than I thought it would be!"
I’ll keep this review updated if I run into any problems down the line, but for now, this bracelet is looking pretty solid. Don’t let the negative feedback sway you from making a purchase; I believe many of the concerns raised in those reviews have been addressed in recent updates. I’m really into the concept, and these bracelets are adorable! My only minor gripes are the noise it makes when it gives a squeeze, and while the band is stunning, the center part feels a bit cheap. I still dig how it looks, but if that center piece was crafted from a higher quality material, it would be spot on. Maybe it needs to be lightweight for the squeezing mechanism, which works like a charm. I even tried filming the squeeze, but you can’t see it move on camera, though you can definitely feel and hear the squish. So far, the bracelets haven’t come apart or anything, so fingers crossed that issue is behind us. Honestly, I don’t think this product deserves some of the harsh criticism it receives; I’m really enjoying it.

"A Company Lacking Compassion, Just Focused on Profits"
My husband already shared his thoughts here (dhr Dekker), but since I have a booking with alternativeairlines.com under my name (we're on separate reservations for the same flight), I figured I’d add our experience and current predicament. He bought a ticket for me and our two-year-old daughter, and while he didn’t choose cancellation protection, he did agree to an extra charge of US$41.60 for flight changes, as clearly stated on their site. However, in one of their emails, they referred to this as a penalty, which wasn’t mentioned on their website at all. Once my husband asked for a refund, it was like he vanished into thin air; they’ve completely ignored his emails since then.

What makes this situation even tougher is that we visit my husband’s family in The Netherlands every year. We can’t just go whenever we feel like it, so our time to see family is limited, especially for my parents-in-law to spend time with their granddaughter. If we don’t get a refund or a decent solution, we won’t be able to make the trip this year. It’s not just about us; it affects a lot of people, and it’s disheartening to see a travel business act so coldly. People travel for more than just fun or tourism! When my husband needed to change our flight, he thought he’d only have to pay the fee mentioned during the ticket purchase. Can you imagine finding out that the info was misleading? Suddenly, they want you to fork over an extra 6000+ euros?

When buying the ticket, there’s an (i) for fare rules you can click on, which drops down with details. It says: "Flexible Change & Cancellation Some airlines have introduced flexible change and cancellation policies during COVID-19 which supersede these rules. Jakarta - Amsterdam Can I change this ticket? Turkish Airlines will charge a fee of up to US$ 41.60 for changes before departure from Jakarta - Soekarno–Hatta. Turkish Airlines will charge a fee of up to US$ 41.60 for changes after departure from Jakarta - Soekarno–Hatta."

Nowhere does it clarify that this is a penalty to be paid, and they even mention the COVID-19 period. Honestly, how can anyone argue that this isn’t misleading? The information they provide later isn’t at all what you see when booking your flight. We’re genuinely heartbroken; I don’t have much faith that this company will resolve our issue, given their heartless behavior so far. They claim to work hard for their customers, but we haven’t seen any of that.

"Don't waste your cash"
First off, I gotta say it’s a brilliant concept, but that’s where the good stuff ends. The tech just isn’t up to par, and they should’ve waited to launch until it was ready. Instead, it feels like they were just after a quick buck. The bracelets refuse to stay connected to your phone. It’s not like you’re wandering out of Bluetooth range or anything. You could literally have your phone right in your hand, just an inch from the bracelet, and it still won’t stay linked. When I reached out to customer support, all I got back was, 'We’ve made some updates, try updating your device to see if that fixes it.' Spoiler alert: it doesn’t. They just keep you hanging, fully aware it won’t work, but they won’t own up to it or let you swap the bracelets out in case there’s a real issue. Terrible product and even worse customer service.

"Save your cash and sanity!"
I’m starting to wonder if the folks at HEY actually care about what their customers think. If they did, they’d probably have a spot on their site for us to share our thoughts and reviews. But they don’t, and it feels like they know HEY is just a scam—pure junk, honestly!

Sadly, we’ve got nothing positive to say about this item. It’s completely useless. The app keeps dropping the connection, and it’s so frustrating! Every time we try to link up, it either says it can’t connect, can’t find the device, or just doesn’t recognize it at all!

With shipping included, we’ve thrown away $130, and it’s been a real letdown.

What was meant to be a sweet way to stay connected with someone special while apart turned out to be a total disaster; it was a gift that brought zero happiness to the recipients.

"Purchase two, receive just one..."
I ordered two pieces of this item, but I only received one. It's been over two months, and every time I reach out, they take days to respond with the same excuse: they claim they sent the others but never give me a tracking number. Honestly, they feel like crooks. I won't be shopping with them again.

"Connection issues just kept piling up."
We received the bracelets, but they wouldn’t connect at all. Then customer support sent us a replacement bracelet, thinking the original was defective. Now, both of the original ones are completely non-functional, and the only one that kinda works is the extra one we got. Super disappointing.

"It's been a year since I returned the bracelet and still no refund"
I purchased the bracelet a year back, but I wasn't happy with it, so I returned it according to their instructions. Nearly a year has gone by, and I still haven't seen a dime. Every time I reach out to customer service, they keep asking for my order number over and over. They promise to update me, but here I am, still waiting for my money. What do you call a company that operates like this?
